Tribute to departing Teacher.

Tributes to Mr A. Wilson, who is leaving Conisbrough Northcliffe County High School at Easter to take up a headship in Skegness, were paid at Monday’s meeting of the School Governors.

Cllr T.Hill said, “I take this opportunity of congratulating Mr Wilson on his appointment, though I regret to see him go. I hope that he doesn’t forget the school and comes back to visit us sometime.”

The chairman, Cllr Mrs D. Limer, also congratulated Mr Wilson, but said she was extremely sorry to see him go. She said that Mr Wilson had their good wishes in his new post at Skegness.

It was reported that Mr Arthur L Matthews, the deputy head elect, would take up his new position on April 13.
