Two Denaby Signings

Denaby United side H Lovell, Denaby Comrades, centre forward, who scored 50 goals last season, played in Denaby’s last match against Notts Forest and scored two goals, and L Vickers, a goalkeeper who formerly played for Kilnhurst and Manvers and is at present awaiting demobilisation from the Army.

Denaby commenced training on Tuesday will continue each Tuesday and Thursday evenings.

There will be a practice match for local players wishing to be given a trial on August 9 at 3 p.m.
