Violent Conisborough Man.

For having been drunk and disorderly and for assaulting Police-constable Rutter, a Conisborough miner. John Cullen, was, yesterday, at Doncaster, fined 2s. 6d. and committed to prison for ten days for the two offences.

He went to a house New Conisborough, created a disturbance, and the police had to be called in to get rid of him. He became very rough, and had to be carried the police station as he refused to walk, and on the way he struck and kicked the policeman.
