Miss Olive Frances Best, eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. W. Best, of Athelstane Road, Conisborough, was married at the Parish Church on Tuesday to Mr. Leslie Balmforth, only son of Mr. and Mrs. W. E. Balmforth, New Street, Mexborough.

The Vicar (the Rev. Canon H. T. Eddershaw) officiated, and the bride, who was given away by her father, wore a gown of blue figured silk taffeta, trimmed with orange blossom, and wore a blue veil lent by Mrs. Wright, an aunt of the bridegroom. The veil was secured by a wreath of orange blossom.

The bride, who carried chrysanthemums, was attended by Miss Madge Best (sister) in blue organdie over blue satin, Miss Betty Best (sister), in blue taffeta, Miss Florence Balmforth (sister of the bridegroom) in pink satin, and Miss Marion Marion Balmforth (sister of the bridegroom) in pink taffeta.
