Pretty Wedding at Denaby
Coy & Wraithmell.

Considerable interest was taken in the marriage of Miss Elsie Wraithmell, eldest daughter of Mr and Mrs T. Wraithmell, of Tickhill Square, to Mr T Coy, of Denaby. The ceremony took place at All Saints Church on Bank Holiday, and as the parties are both well-known, having been connected with the Sunday school and church works for a number of years, much interest was taken in the event.

The Rev. G. Brooks officiated, the bride was attired in cream cashmere, trimmed with silk, and wore a tulle veil. The bridesmaids were Miss Dora Wraithmell and Miss Ruth Clark. Miss D. Wraithmell was attired in biscuit taffeta, trimmed with cream lace and black velvet ribbons, with hat to match. Miss R. Clark wore a navy blue voile dress, trimmed with white silk, and had to match.

Mr J Scott was the groomsmen, and the bride was given away by Mr Moses Soar of Denaby.

A reception was afterwards held at the home of the bride’s parents, when a large company of friends assembled, amongst whom were the following, besides the relatives of the bride and bridegroom: Mr and Mrs G. Milnes, Mr and Mrs F. Richardson, Mr and Mrs W. Burton, Mr and Mrs J. W. Beale Mr and Mrs Morse Mr and Mrs Bell, Mr and Mrs T. Makin, Mr and Mrs lapidere Mr and Mrs Winpenny et cetera.

The bride and bridegroom left for Blackpool by the 5 p.m. train, where the honeymoon is being spent. The bride’s travelling costume was a light grey tweed trimmed with silk, with a crepe-de-chine blouse, and a biscuit coloured hat, trimmed with pale blue.
