Miss Margaret Roberts, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. E. Roberts, of 90, Elm Green Lane, Conisbrough, was married on Monday at St. Peter’s Church, Conisbrough, to Mr Thomas Stanley Dennis, son of Mr. and Mrs. T. E. Dennis, of 18, Princess Road, Mexborough. The choral service was conducted by the Rev. G. F. Braithwaite. Mr. W. Farmer was organist.
The bride, given away by her father, wore a rose pink model gown with pink hat and carried pink roses with trailing fern. She was attended by Mrs. Mollie Holmes, in a pale green model dress, with black hat and accessories. Mrs. Holmes carried pink carnations. Mr. Alan May was best man and Mr. John Roberts was groomsman.
A reception was held in the Welfare Hall, Denaby. The honeymoon is being spent in Wales.
