Wedding – Taylor & Davey (picture)

On Wednesday at Conisborough Parish Church the wedding took place of Miss Kathleen Taylor, eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. H. Taylor, of 89, Doncaster Road, Denaby Main, to Mr. George William Davey, third son of Mr. and Mrs. Luther Fox Davey, of 35, Prior Road, Conisborough.

Given away by her father, the bride wore a dress of figured satin beaute, with veil and coronet and carried pink carnations.

She was attended by Miss Greta Robson in pink satin with overdress of net, and Mrs. Joan Taylor in blue satin dress, with overdress of net. Both wore coronets to tone and carried blue irises and white narcissi.

The two small maids, Tina Taylor and Freda Davey worn pink and blue satin beaute respectively and carried posies of anemonies. Their gifts from the bridegroom were pendants and identity discs.

The best man was Mr. George Edward Willis and the groomsmen were Messrs. Maurice Davey and George Herbert Taylor
