Welfare Trustees’ Offer of Baths.

Denaby Welfare trustees have offered to hand over their swimming baths to the Conisborough Urban Council on condition that the local authority assumes responsibility for their maintenance and supervision in the future.

The latest offer has been considered in committee, and a recommendation was made to the Finance Committee for acceptance.

Interviewed by a Sheffield Telegraph representative. Mr. A. Roberts, chairman or the Urban Council, said: “We have decided to accept the gift.”
