Where Is Vic?

Conisborough Canine Playmate Missing

Hundreds of schoolchildren who play in Conisborough Urban Council playground at the foot Denaby Crags before running off to school, are in despair; their doggy pal, Vic. missing.

Vic. brown-haired mongrel, partly Airedale and partly Irish terrier, with a roguish head and laughing brown eyes, belongs Mr. Reginald Threlkeld of Montagu Avenue, Conisborough, curator of the playground, and is the idol of not a few Conisborough and Denaby animal lovers.

Anxious childish voices daily Inquire of Mr. Threlkeld where Vic has been for the past fortnight, for Vic disappeared on 17 October, and has not returned.

The playground is not complete without him.
