Premature Opening.

The decorations to the pavilion bar of Conisbrough Cricket Club were completed on Friday, and a stock arrived ready for the opening of the season.

But during the same night 67 bottles of beer were stout disappeared, as well as a large quantity of chocolates and cigarettes which had never been unpacked.

The burglary has been reported to the police
