Rossington Street School Concert

The girls of the Rossington Street School last night gave their annual concert. The program included country dancing, folk dancing, a sword dance, character dance and songs.

The school choir rendered two items, “land of Hope and Glory” and “There’s a land

standard 2 and 3: “spring flowers,” “harebells,” “someone” and “rock-a-bye;”

standard four and five: “The cuckoo,” “Daybreak” “Sweet and Low” and “Alice blue gown;”

standard 6 and 7 “I know a bank” and “There’s a big lot of sunshine;”

Members of the English folk dance Society from Doncaster contributed Morris and country dances.
