Sossusvlei

After an early start we reached the sand dunes at Sossusvlei which reach a height of over 300 metres.

We climbed Dune 45 which was an incredible experience. Over 3000 steps climbing up soft sand.

Then we walked to the dead Lake which had numerous trees in a colourful panorama.

Finally we stopped and descended the Sesriem Canyon and found water.
