Leading Seaman J. H. Jackson,
Denaby Main.
Royal Naval Division.
Leading seaman J. H. Jackson (Royal naval division), of 102, Doncaster Road, Denaby Main, has been wounded in the head and leg, and is now making excellent progress in Giza hospital, Egypt.
“It is a beautiful place,” he writes”; you can look out of the window and see the great Pyramids, and the hospital are surrounded by trees bearing all manner of fruit.
I don’t think the Turks will last much longer, and I shall soon be able to come and see you all.”
