Trustee Savings Bank

New Customers.

The local branch of the Sheffield Trustee Savings Bank has learnt from experience that new premises attract new customers, and the manager, Mr. E. G. Dickinson, feels that by development the people of Conisbrough can be persuaded to say in the town to do their shopping, instead of breaking away to Mexborough and Doncaster.

Mr. Dickinson himself has found that his comparatively new premises, opened three or so years ago, have attracted new customers, so that now there are about 2,800 depositors on the books.

Of course, in the special investments department customers can get 4 or 5 per cent. interest, and in addition there are a number of other banking facilities – bankers’ orders, for example.
