Mexborough & Swinton Times, June 18th, 1886
A few days ago the Conisboro’ Cricket Club journeyed to Wadworth, where a pleasant game was played, resulting in a victory for the home team.
Conisboro’ scored 35, of which number 21 was scored by Mr. Shutt, a veteran player, who is well known in cricketing circles. The remainder of the team scored 10 runs collectively.
Some practice is evidently required by the Conisboro’ cricketers.
