Denaby Visitors from New Zealand

Our Denaby correspondent recently received visit from Mrs. Baynham of New Zealand, who is staying with her mother, Mrs. Salmons, at 71, Annerley Street, Denaby Main. She told him she had read with interest the item in “Denaby notes” about the letter received from Mr. and Mrs. J. H. MacFarlane of New Zealand.

Mrs. Baynham asked for the address as she hoped to make their acquaintance on her return, especially as Mr. MacFarlane hailed from denaby. Mrs. Baynham Lives at Papatoetoe which is about 17 miles from Henderson, the home of MacFarlane. Mrs. Baynham’s daughter Mrs. Joan Sackria lives at Te Atuta which is the next place to Henderson.

She hopes to pay a visit to Mr. and Mrs. MacFarlane on her return, and give them news of Denaby Main.
