Leaders Lucky To Get Both Points at Denaby.
Denaby United 1 Shirebrook 2
Denaby United re appeared at home yesterday in opposition to Shirebrook the League leaders, who were fortunate to get away with both points.
Denabv made two changes from their winning team at Boston, Smith and Ketherington returning the forward line.
About 1,500 spectators saw a hard but somewhat ragged game, in which Kelly scored after 15 minutes play. Denaby held this lead the interval.
Shirebrook re-started briskly, and inside a quarter of an hour equalised and obtained the lead through Miller and Stephenson respectively.
Subsequently Denaby had the better of the exchanges, but the forwards missed chances.
