These happy lads from the Conisborough, Denaby and Doncaster district are stationed “somewhere in France” and form the concert party for their , light Anti-Aircraft Regiment.
All of them are readers of the “South Yorkshire Times,” and Mr W. Hingley of Doncaster Road, Denaby, whose son, Gunner S. Hingley, figures on the extreme right of the picture (standing close bracket, tells us that the boys, all of whom are instrumentalists, have been interested in band work for some years.
They meet on Tuesday and Thursday evenings each week for practice and perform at the divisional concerts on Saturday evenings.
