No Sunday Fighter.

At Doncaster, on Saturday, Samuel Lunn, miner, Denaby, was charged with assaulting Edgar Johnson, miner, a; Conisborough, on the 23rd March.

Complainant alleged that whilst out, walking with a friend they met the defendant, who asked him if he would fight him for money. He replied “Yes, but not on Sunday,” and defendant thereupon struck him in the face.

Defendant, on the other hand, said complainant and his pals were always on to him, and three months ago gave him a black eye.

The case was dismissed.
