One of the 80 was Famous
A blue-black 24.7 horse-power Daimler limousine, among the cars offered for sale by auction at Conisbrough yesterday by Hopkinson’s Motor Auctions Ltd., belonged between 1929 and 1936 to the King.
The car was knocked down to the auctioneer, Mr F Hopkinson, for £77. It is in extraordinarily good condition and was one of 80 sold at the auction yesterday.
