Wife Witness Missing

Samuel Earp and Edward Windle, Conisborough miners, appeared before the Doncaster West Riding Police Court, yesterday, a charge of breaking and entering the pawnbroker’s shop of David Haigh, High street, Conisborough.

Earp’s wife, a subpoenaed witness, failed to appear, and the men were remanded for a week, bail being allowed.
