Larceny at Mexbro’.
A married woman named Emma Dukes, of Conisbro’, was at Doncaster on Saturday fined 40s. and costs for stealing four glasses of the value of 10d. from the Montagu Arms Hotel at Mexborough.
The woman called for a glass of beer, and after she had gone the glasses were missed.
She was seen in a ‘bus on her way home with the glasses in her possession.
She pleaded guilty, and said she was under the influence of drink at the time.
