Conisbrough School Project Cut by £3,000

A £9,000 project for two temporary classrooms and a rural studies unit at Conisbrough Northcliffe Secondary School has been reduced by the Ministry of Education and the West Riding Education Committee by £3,000.

The classrooms will still be built, but the rural studies unit will be limited to a potting shed and heated greenhouse.

Projects to be substituted in place of reductions in expenditure on other schools, include one for £20,000 on four classrooms, laboratory and administrative rooms at Mexborough Secondary Technical School.
