Presentation to Dr, Smith, Denaby Main
Dr. Smith, who for several years has officiated at Denaby Main for Dr Sykes, was presented with a handsomely bound Oxford Bible from the women of Denaby as a token of their kind regard and esteem.
Mrs. Fisher, of Denaby Main, made the presentation in suitable terms, to which Dr. Smith feelingly replied, thanking them for their very kind consideration.
Mrs. Clayton and Mts. Kaye, who collected subscriptions for the purchase of the Bible, were also present.
