Such was the superiority of the York City Reserves, over Denaby United, at Fulfordgate yesterday that the visitors scarcely ever looked like scoring. The home team won 3—0.
The City had that extra bit of necessary skill which enabled them to out manoeuver their opponents. Fox, at inside-right. City’s best forward, and his “hat-trick” was fully deserved.
Towards the close Siddall wasted a great opportunity for the United, shooting wide from a penalty kick.
Denaby were never able to settle down.
