Boston United 3 Denaby United 3
For the second time within a fortnight Boston shared the points with Denaby, each team scoring three goals at Boston, last night.
This put an end to Boston’s Midland league record of 14 successive home victories.
Boston opened the score after half an hour when Elding netted, but Black equalised just before half-time. Boston drew ahead twice in the second half through goals by Harden and Davies, but on both occasions Denaby drew level immediately, Black obtaining the “hat–trick.”
