Nurse’s Interference Forcibly Resented

George Bingham, brick burner, Conisborough was at the Doncaster West Riding Court yesterday fined 20s. for being drunk. and disorderly : £2 for assaulting Nurse Samwell; and ordered to pay £2 for damaging windows at the home connected with the Conisborough Small-pox Isolation Hospital on Sunday.

Nurse Samwell said that the man’s wife ran into the kitchen screaming. Defendant followed and seized his wife by the hair and threw her down.
When the nurse remonstrated he attacked her and struck her in the face.
