For having used abusive language at Goldthorpe, on November 3, John Priest, miner of that place, was ordered to pay 5/– and Isaiah Williams, of Goldthorpe, and Frederick Tetley, of Denaby, had each of 5/– to pay.
John Wassall, a Goldthorpe miner, and his wife Isabella, were summoned for using violent and abusive language, and fines of 7/6 and 5/– and costs respectively were imposed.
