Mexborough Language
For having used obscene language the following were fined:
Chas Bradley, miner, Bolton on Dearne, 7/6 and costs; Thomas Freeman, miner, Denaby, Fred Jones, hanger on, Sam Holland, trammer, George Davies, miner, James Albert Lynch, miner, all of Mexborough 5/– and costs each.
The Chairman expressed his surprise that all the obscene language cases, with one exception, came from Mexborough.
