Fighting About Home Rule
John Howlett, fitter, Conisbrough, was summoned for having been drunk and refusing to quit the Station Hotel, Conisbrough, on February 27.
P.c. Trueman said that on the evening in question he was called to the Station Hotel, and found Hewlett Howlett cursing and swearing. He had his cap off, was drunk and fighting with another man.
The landlord ordered them out, and as he refused to go, and after repeated requests, witness put him out.
John Seneschal, the landlord, said the defendant was fighting with another man about the Home Rule Bill, and would not go when he ordered him
Fined 10 shillings and costs.
Drunk at Mexborough
Bertie Beevers collier, Denaby was fined 20 shillings and costs for having been drunk and disorderly at Mexborough.
