Sailor “On The Rocks”
Ordinary Seaman Donald Edwin Kaye (18) son of Mr. and Mrs. E. S. Kaye, 72, Daylands Avenue, Conisbrough, volunteered for the Navy six months ago and has been for a short time at Gibraltar.
In his letters he says that he is putting in plenty of swimming and sun-bathing.
He left his work as a painter on Conisbrough Council to join up.
