Inquest at Denaby.

Yesterday an inquest was held at the Reresby Arms, Denaby Main, before Mr Wightman. touching the death of a man named Griffiths, who was in the employ of the Denaby Colliery Company.

Deceased, who was about forty- nine years of age, was employed in fitting tubes on the pit hill. He his work to go home about 2.30 on Thursday morning, and must have taken a wrong turn to the left, and have fallen a distance of about 16 feet.

His dead body was found at 515 a.m. by one of the workmen, A verdict was returned to the effect that deceased was accidentally killed.
