Drunk and Disorderly at Conisbro’.

Joseph Ross, glassblower, Conisbro’, was charged with being drunk and disorderly at Conisbro’, on the 20th ult.

P.C. Munro deposed that at 10 o’clock on Tuesday night, the 20th ult., he was called to the defendant. Found him drunk in Station-road, cursing and swearing, and making a great disturbance. Requested him to go several times, and at first he refused, but afterwards went to his house door, and they used very abusive language again.

Was passing his house again a little before 12 o’clock in company with Sergt. Morley. He again came out and used very abusive language, and said all they could do was to fetch him a bl—y summons, and he did not care for that.

Sergeant Morley corroborated the evidence of last witness.

Fined 5s., and costs 12s.
