Drunk and Disorderly

Chas. Murdin was summoned for having been drunk on the highway at Denaby on the 22nd ult.

Police-constable Kendall stated that he was on duty in Doncaster road, Denaby, when a woman named Webster asked him to turn the defendant out of her house. He found the man drunk, and took him part of the way home, when defendant wanted to fight him.

He was fined 3s. and costs.

Frank Chadfield and John Sleeth were summoned for a like offence at the same time and place.

Police-constable Kendall stated that, about a quarter to 12 p.m., he was on duty in Doncaster road, Denaby, when he heard a disturbance in Melton street. On going to the spot he saw the two defendants, who were drunk.

Sleeth was fined 5s. and costs; Chadfield was discharged.
