Patrick McDrammitt and James Wilson, both colliers, of Denaby, were summoned for playing pitch and toss at Conisboro’ on Sunday, the 16th ult.

Police-constable Kendall stated that on the above date, about three o’clock in the afternoon, he saw the defendants on the public highway tossing.

There was no defence, and a fine of 7s. 6d. and 12s. 6d. costs was inflicted.
