Drunk and Quarreling
Patrick McHale, of Denaby, was summoned for being drunk on Doncaster-road, Denaby, on the 9th inst.
P.C. Kendall said his attention was attracted by a crowd round defendant, who was quarrelling with his mother and father outside his own house. He was under the influence of drink. He had seen him an hour previously opposite the Reresby Arms, and he was then drunk.
In answer to defendant witness said he was the person who was making the disturbance and he was sure he was drunk. Witness did not see him appeal to the people and ask them whether he was drunk.
Defendant called Thomas Willan for the defence, but as he did not appear the magistrates fined defendant 5s. and costs.
