The Theft of Lead
James Aizlewood and Tom Knight, of Westgate, were brought up on remand charged with stealing 35lbs. of lead from the roof of a building in Westgate, some time during the month of September. The lead, which was the property of Mr. Searle, of Conisborough, was worth 6s. 6d.
The case was now completed, and the prisoners were committed to the Sessions for trial. Aizlewood was admitted to bail.
