Proposed Reading Room at Denaby Main
It has been decided by the prominent officials of Denaby Main Colliery, aided by a few residents in the village, to open a reading room for the benefit of the large mining population which has recently congregated in the vicinity.
In addition to the customary attractions of a reading room, it is intended, if possible, to add others, in the shape of billiards, draughts, chess, &c.
