Denaby Main Cricket Club – Annual Tea
On Saturday the above club commenced the season with a match, Top v. Bottom. The scores were—Top, 35 for six wickets; Bottom, 37. The game was left undecided.
Afterwards about 150 persons sat down to a substantial tea in the schoolroom. An entertainment followed, which was presided over by Mr. Chambers, when an excellent programme of music and readings was admirably performed.
