Assault at Conisbrough

Arthur Beevers, a labourer of Conisbrough, was charged with assaulting David Farey, also of Conisbrough.

On the night of the previous Saturday, the complainant was standing at his door when the defendant, who was passing by, suddenly rushed at him without speaking and struck him a violent blow on the head before walking away.

Beevers was fined 25 shillings, including costs.
