Small-Pox at Denaby and Conisbro’
Eight deaths have occurred this year in the small-pox hospitals at Denaby Main, the cases having arisen in that village, and also at the adjoining parish of Conisbro’.
The last death was that of an employee of the new South Yorkshire Junction Railway. His name was Thomas Sitton, aged 44. He died on Sunday, and his remains were interred on Monday.
Yesterday an outbreak of small-pox was reported to be at the house of Samuel Mellor, at Conisbro’, and four members of the family were removed to the isolation hospital.
