Doncaster and District Ambulance Work at Conisbro’

An ambulance class has for some time been conducted at Conisbro’, and a number of persons have practically interested themselves in the periodic proceedings.

On Thursday night in the Board School there was a large attendance of the public to witness the distribution of prizes to the successful competitors, the ceremonial being conducted by Mrs. Chambers, wife of the manager of the Denaby Main Colliery.

Special medals for efficiency in connection with the St. John Ambulance work were secured by Mr. Witty, manager of the Cadeby Colliery; Mr. Stones, and Mr. Hill.
