Death and Funeral of Mr. John Constantine, Denaby Main.
Considerable regret was evinced at the sad death of an old and greatly respected Denaby resident in the person of Mr. John Constantine, late of Doncaster Road, Denaby Main. Death was caused through that dread disease, cancer on the liver, to which disease Mr. Constantine succumbed after an illness of two years’ duration. The deceased worked at the Denaby Main Colliery as a boiler stoker, where he had been employed for 36 years, in which time he gained many friends. Whilst following his employment he had the misfortune to lose a leg, which happened 29 years ago last January.
