Drunk and Disorderly

William Thomas, pit-sinker, Conisborough, was charged with being drunk and disorderly at Conisborough on June 11th.

P.C. Jarvis proved the case. Prisoner pleaded guilty.

Fined 20s. and costs.

William Burns was also charged with being drunk and disorderly at Conisborough on 4th June, 1893.
P.C. Jarvis said he found the prisoner on Denaby Road very drunk, using most filthy language. He requested him to go home but he refused; he then took him home. Prisoner then went into a neighbour’s house and smashed a window.

Defendant did not appear and was charged 25s., including costs.
