Denaby Man Institute

On Saturday night at the Mechanics’ Institute, Denaby Main, there was a pleasant little ceremony in connection with the recent marriage of Mr. Jesse Hill, the secretary of the institute, when that gentleman was presented with a marble timepiece subscribed for by his fellow members.

A tea was held in the afternoon, which was followed by a social and musical gathering, at which Mr. W. H. Chambers, vice-president of the institute, made the presentation.
