Drunken Cases

John Stafford, jun., miner, Conisborough, was charged with being drunk and disorderly in Conisborough on July 15th.

Police-constable Trueman proved the case, and defendant was fined 20s., including costs.

John Stonehouse and William Stonehouse, miners, Conisborough, were charged with being drunk and disorderly at Conisborough on July 15th.

Police-constable Dobbs gave evidence, and the defendants were fined 5s. and costs each.

John Evans, miner, Denaby, was charged with being drunk and disorderly on July 14th.

Police-constable Jarvis said that when he spoke to the defendant about his conduct and requested him to go home he told witness he was to go to h—. (Laughter.)

Defendant was fined 10s. and 11s. costs.

David Willette, miner, Conisborough, was charged with being drunk and disorderly at Conisborough on July 15th.

Police-constable Trueman proved the case, and the defendant was fined 10s. and 11s. costs.

William Fennell, miner, Mexborough, was charged with being drunk and disorderly at Mexborough on July 7th, and on Police-constable Barton’s evidence he was fined 2s. 6d. and costs.
