Denaby and Cadeby Main Collieries Company v. Yorkshire Miners’ Association
This important law case, in which the colliery company are suing the Yorkshire Miners’ Association for the alleged payment of strike pay, is likely to be heard early in October.
The statement of claim has been issued by the plaintiffs, who assess their damages at £125,000.
Messrs. Croft and Nolan, who are also defendants, are represented by Mr. Hall, solicitor, of Mexboro’.
The case for the Miners’ Association is in the hands of Messrs. Hailey and Sons, of Barnsley.
