Arrears at Denaby
Robert Chadwick, a miner of Denaby, was summoned by Aenath Davey for being in arrears under a bastardy order dating from 24th September 1898. An arrangement was reached between the parties.
Affiliation Order at New Conisbrough
Frank Ugley, a pony driver of Denaby, was summoned at the instance of Charlotte Adamson, of Sprotboro’ Street, New Conisbrough, to show cause why he should not contribute to the maintenance of her illegitimate child, of which he was alleged to be the father.
Mr. W. Baddiley appeared for the complainant. After hearing the evidence, the magistrates ordered the defendant to pay 2 shillings and 6 pence weekly.
