Played at Denaby, before a good gate, the homesters making the Midland League champions go all the way from start to finish. The first half was pointless, and on changing ends Denaby had distinctly the better of the exchanges.
Ten minutes from time Denaby scored through Nimrod, and Denaby looked gallant winners. Wednesday attacked furiously in the final stage, and in absolutely the closing minute equalised through Hemingsfield.
