Elopement at Mexboro’
On Saturday last a young man named Albert Beckett, living at Kirby’s Yard, Mexboro’, employed at the Denaby Colliery as carter, eloped with the wife of a man named Bucknall, residing in Church Street.
It is stated that the parties were seen in Mexboro’ at four o’clock, and again at the Mexboro’ railway station. Beckett is a young man, 21 years of age, while the partner of his flight is about 30.
The woman left a child behind her in her flight.
